Speaking of the desert, I'd now like to share my Vegas weekend in pictures. Please understand that cocktails are a part of every picture, even if you can't see them.
We started off with our 45 minute flight
(and a double screwdriver in the airport at 10am,
and a single on the airplane at 11:15)
Yes, I am so cool (read: drunk) that I wear my sunglasses on the plane.
Then we arrived at our gloriously over the top Vegas hotel looking totally adorable...
and headed straight to the pool to enjoy the sun (and another 3-4 drinks)
And then when we were sufficiently overheated (again, drunk)
We headed off to shop and then nap and eat pizza
(Papa Johns delivers to the hotel. Yes, we're classy.)
until the rest of the girls arrived..
At which time we made ourselves look gorgeous
(and started drinking again)
And headed out to our first night of fun...
(After stealing sharing drinks at a table of old guys we'd never met before
I drank danced so much that I forgot to take any more photos)
We had so much fun that we arrived back at our hotel around 4am
and enjoyed meal #1
from our beloved Grand Lux Cafe.
A classy selection of chicken fingers, french fries, spinach and artichoke dip, and pizza.
Suffice to say we were feeling pretty full awesome the next morning
so we headed straight back out to the pool (and started back in on the screwdrivers)
Day two was pretty awesome too.
More pool time with a fabulous cabana (with spiked frozen lemonades)
Yummy poolside lunch (and a pitcher of sangria)
And then nap time inside with the most awesome Lifetime original movie EVER
Starring Micha Barton
Then we (prepartied and then) went out for a fabulous dinner at SushiSamba
The obligitory elevator picture.
(Dinner clearly also included cocktails)
And headed out for night two at one of the hottest clubs in Vegas.
I know that only because the line was about two hours long
But luckily,
We don't stand in lines.
We started out looking hot..
And then things got a little hazy (drunk)...
And once people's feet started to hurt
We headed back off to Grand Lux...
The place of all happiness.
There are no pictures from the last day, my friends.
Because we were looking pretty haggard (hungover)
And so we hopped in a cab,
Ate some greasey food,
And flew back into the gloomy haze that is home.
And then I jumped back into Hubby's arms (and made him get me fro yo)
And we lived happily ever after.
The end.
