Rain in LA

The weather here in Los Angeles has been a little spazzy this year.  We had torrential downpours during the winter (conveniently timed immediately before and after our wedding), a mostly gloomy and cool summer, and now a ridiculously hot fall.  Suffice to say, I'm really looking forward to the central air and heating in our new place.

But last night, we went out to look at the gorgeous sunset, and realized that it was raining! Like full on thunder and lightening storms.  The warm sudden rainstorm was bizzare and all of us Angelinos, but the break in the heat and the lovely view made the resulting traffic (that I didn't have to sit in) totally awesome.
