Normal: Decorating your home for the holidays

Not Normal: Spending a ridiculous amount of time and money decorating your 850 sq ft apartment for the holidays as soon as it is socially acceptable (the day after Thanksgiving).

My birthday was this Saturday.  I spent the day (by choice) decorating my mom's house and my apartment for the holidays.  And when we finished, we went to HomeGoods to pick up even more decorations.  It's like Christmas crack.  It was the best day ever.

Oh and we ended my celebration with post-Thanksgiving fondue at the Melting Pot.  And rolled out.
