My Kitchen {aka boogerland}

I read about {Love Stitched}'s Kitchen Link Up this weekend and realized that I had to participate.  Not because I have a gorgeous kitchen or even a nice one.  Why, you ask?  You'll see...

At first glance, it could be any normal semi-ok teeny tiny apartment kitchen.
You've got your dirty dishes,
your slow cooker still out from Slow Cooker Scrumptiousness week two weeks ago,
your fridge still plastered with holiday cards,
and your ridiculously unorganized and unbelievably crammed cabinets...

Then, you start to realize that something about this kitchen
isn't
quite
normal.
You have to enter through an unbelievably tall gate (she cleared the first one we bought)...
There is one cabinet entirely devoted to paper towels and trash bags (seriously, we should buy stock in Bounty)...
Treats on one counter...
And leashes, toys, and puppy chow on the other...

And that's when you realize that you're not alone...
You step over food and water bowls as you enter...
There's a crate on the floor that blocks access to
every
single
drawer (we tie it open onto the oven)...
And, yes, there is a potty by the refrigerator
(the plan is to eliminate this in the next week or two,
but if you're too grossed out to ever want to talk to me again, I understand)....

Because our kitchen is also Booger's den.  So it's hard to cook in and near impossible to clean...
And most of the time, half way through the process, I usually give in to the whines and just end up sitting with her on the floor...

And with a little warm puppy on my lap, there's nowhere other than my kitchen that I would rather be.

So what does your kitchen look like?  You know it has to be better than mine!  Link up and play!

**I'm heading out of town for a couple of days...but when I come back, get ready for another taste of Slow Cooker Scrumptiousness!** Pin It

  13. I love your honesty and transparency! I do feed my fur baby in the kitchen (some squeal in horror at that) but fortunately she goes potty outside. Not sure I could handle your situation for too long...but temporarily I could manage...I think. LOL
