I made about a zillion little bites for our Super Bowl party, all of which were super simple perfect party additions
Because, who doesn't love a good app?
I found this recipe on Pinterest, like you do.
It's perfect for game days, special occasions, or just to have out to grab a handful {or six} for a snack
Garlic Ranch Oyster Crackers
Ingredients
1 package ranch dressing mix
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 tsp dried dill
1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp chili powder
Salt
1 box oyster crackers
Salt
1 box oyster crackers
Cooking spray
So at first I followed the instructions.
And then I veered off on my own little path.
Start by preheating the oven to 250 degrees and covering a cookie sheet with tin foil
First, mix the ranch mix, oil, 1 tsp dill, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, and salt in a bowl.
Dump in the oyster crackers and stir it up.
At this point, I had some clumpy delicious oyster crackers and some with no seasoning at all.
So I spread them out on a cookie sheet as per the instructions.
Sprayed them with a little cooking spray to make them sticky
And dumped another 1 tsp dill, 1 tsp garlic powder, salt and some chili powder on top so they all looked nice and covered with flavor.
Now, put them in the oven for about 15 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes
Pull them out, let them cool, and pop them in a bowl for your guests to devour!
Or, as I found out with some leftovers, toss them in a bowl of soup for some extra flavor and deliciousness!
