It's so good and flavorful that I just can't resist
As you may have noticed from some of my previous recipes, Hubby is a fan of the meatball
{probably cause he's quite hot and meaty himself...yum}
And I am a fan of the frozen-protein-that-takes-no-time-to-make
So this one was clearly a winner
{especially because I've been sick and could make it for him in two seconds flat}
*Slow Cooker* Asian Meatballs
Ingredients
1 bag frozen meatballs
1 bottle hoisin sauce
1 tblspn siraccha
1 tsp red pepper flakes
1 tsp red pepper flakes
3 cloves of preminced garlic
1/2 cup soy sauce
2 tspns sesame oil
2 tspn ground ginger
1 can beef broth
Green onions and sesame seeds to garnish
Start with the soy sauce in the bottom of the pot, like ya do.
Add the frozen meatballs.
And then just pour everything else on top and mix it all up.
You can increase or decrease the amount of broth based on how long you plan to have the pot on. For longer times or a less thick sauce, add more broth.
Turn the pot to low and cook for 6-8 hours.
Come back
Stir it up
Spoon over rice
And top with green onions and sesame seeds
Or, if you're doing these as an app, use a toothpick to remove and plate each meatball and sprinkle garnish over the top.
