This was a major, epic photo fail on this one
But the recipe was so good and so fantastically easy that I had to share it anyway
I knew that I had to do something for my party in the crock pot
Because I love my crock pot like it's my first child.
Maybe second to boogerdog.
Whatever.
And then I found this puppy on the Food Network
And, obvies, I went for it
This is the only picture that I got and it may or may not be
taken of the inside of the tuperware full of leftovers.
Fail.
*Slow Cooker* Spinach & Artichoke Dip
Ingredients
2 cups grated mozzarella
1 cup grated parmesan
16 oz
cream cheese
4 cloves preminced garlic
2 boxes frozen spinach
1 can artichoke hearts
1-2 tblspns balsamic vinegar
Salt and pepper to taste
This one was super duper easy.
Guess what you do?
Throw everything in your crock pot.
Technically, you should let the spinach thaw and the cream cheese soften first and then mix the whole thing up, but since I was lazy and I knew I was going to be in the kitchen, I just threw it all in there.
I just let it all heat up in there for about half an hour, then mixed it all up once the pot worked its magic.
Let it cook for 2 hours on high and serve up that gooey melty cheesy goodness with some chunks of fresh bread.
Or {and this was an awesome option for the party} keep it in the pot on warm for a few hours until you're ready to serve.
And then at half time...
Bam! Spinach dip.
Sorry again for the lack of pictures.
Bad blogger, good recipe.
